Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us, and limited technical information.
- Solar enquiry form: your name, email address and (optionally) telephone number; the property postcode and type; your relationship to the property; roof type, material and shading; optional electricity consumption and bill information; daytime occupancy; what you would like to explore; timing; any notes you add; and your consent.
- Contact form and email: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if analytics is enabled and you accept analytics cookies, information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type.
We do not ask for bank, card or payment details through this website. Please do not send them.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or message.
- To discuss domestic solar for your home and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- If you consent to analytics, to understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Lawful bases
Under UK data protection law we rely on:
- Steps at your request before entering into a contract — when you ask us about solar for your home or request a proposal.
- Legitimate interests — responding to general messages and keeping proportionate records of correspondence.
- Consent — for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed, with:
- service providers who host this website, process form submissions or provide email, acting on our instructions;
- an analytics provider, only if you have consented to analytics cookies;
- if you choose to proceed with a project, parties involved in confirming or carrying out the installation — and only with your knowledge;
- authorities or advisers where required by law.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact information only for as long as is reasonably needed to respond, follow up on your enquiry and keep appropriate records, and we review it periodically. If you become a customer, information relating to your project is kept for as long as needed for that relationship and any legal obligations.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information you do not need to.
Your rights
You have rights under UK data protection law, including to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- ask for a copy in a portable format, where applicable;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
